Biofeedback is a training modality that can be used to address:

  • Excessive tension
  • Respiration insufficiency
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Post-concussion symptoms
  • Migraine headaches
  • Elevated heart rate
  • Anxiousness-related concerns
  • Circulation disorders
  • Issues associated with chronic pain

How it works

  • Electrodes are applied to the skin, and sensative instruments determine whether an individual's nervous system functioning tends toward being elevated, or excessive.
  • When nervous system hyper-activation is observed, biofeedback training can be used to help guide the afflicted toward a more balanced output.
  • Once an individual successfully adjusts their response patterning on site, they are then equipped to put into practice modified functioning in their everyday environment.

Tension-related conditions that can be adjustted using biofeedback include

  • tension headaches,
  • chronic tightness
  • muscular spasm
  • bruxism (teeth grinding).
